We are often asked if our maple syrup is organic. As of the 2015 season, we are officially certified organic through MOSA, Midwest Organic Services Association. While our operation did not change at all, we made the commitment to join the ranks of organic producers nationwide. MOSA certification requires that we conform to National Organic Standards and we are thoroughly inspected annually, in order to maintain our organic certification.
It takes from 40 to over 80 gallons of sap to produce just one gallon of pure maple syrup.
